Harmony, Inc. is an international, non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the barbershop style of music and educating its members, women of all ages, in the art of its performance.
Founded in 1959, Harmony, Inc. currently has over 60 chapters and approximately 2,000 members. Governed by an elected Board of Directors, Harmony, Inc. is divided into six geographical areas within the United States and Canada, with chapters stretching from Manitoba to Florida and Newfoundland to California.
Harmony conventions are held each spring and fall for the purpose of educating members. Chorus and quartet contests are a highlight of these events. Harmony choruses and quartets are also active in the community, performing for the public, contributing to charitable projects, and participating in various educational events.
