The Steve Hagerdon Fund
Your caring donations support youth programs. There is no better way than to support our young singers, develop skills, and encourage their passion for music.
Our recipients have been enriched with the musical experience we all share through our strong vision of "Empowering All Women Through Singing, Education, and Friendship".
Each year, your contributions support the Minor Chords by paying their registration, music, and learning material fees to attend both Area 6 Area Convention and Contests and the International Convention and Contests. Your contributions also pay for special gear; like T-shirts and tote bags made specifically for them. In 2024, your donations also supported Harmony Xplosion Camp Northeast, held in Worcester, MA, where nearly 100 high school students attended an all-day free Barbershop camp and singing clinic with teachers and clinicians from Harmony, Incorporated, Barbershop Harmony Society, and Sweet Adelines International.

The Tom Gentry Fund
Since 1976, Harmony, Inc. has been committed to built a strong community of Judges who are passionate and committed to bringing our contest experience to the greatest and most fulfilling levels. Through your donations, you help educate and encourage this rich community to keep growing and improving their skills.
While the Tom Gentry Fund is still new, in 2025, we have already approved funds to help 5 candidate judges pay for their travel to various contests across the country.
Your donations provide these candidates with the opportunity to practice judge and hone their skills so that they can one day, provide YOU with the best contest experience ever!

Education & Expansion
This is where your gift makes a huge impact on Chapter Leadership Development, expansion and growth of our organization, all through membership and educational events, and conventions, held in current, and new growth areas across North America.
In 2024, your generous gift supported 2 major education events, one in Area 1 and the other in Area 2. They gathered hundreds of singers who learned a whole bunch of new skills and brought these skills back to their own chapters and ensembles.
And, thanks to you, we are making history in 2025 by hosting our first ever convention outside our geographic Areas.
Harmony Fest West in Tempe, AZ is happening because of you, and your generous donations. Your gift is helping to pay for our venue, our rehearsal rooms, and all other costs related to holding an exciting convention. This event will be as close as it gets to our best Area Conventions with plenty of quartets and ensembles, a star-studded panel and coaching sessions that will last till the cows come home. A full report on this event will be available once the dust settles in August.
